I'm not going to lie to you...the current housing market just plain sucks! But not for the reasons that you may be thinking. There is an over abundant amount of homes for sale in the Seattle Metropolitan market area. Many of these homes are priced so well that I wish I had a pile of cash so I could buy them all myself! But like you, I don't have a pile of cash and can't buy them up. So what happens if you decide to buy one of these beauties? Well the reason why there's that abundant number of homes that I was talking about earlier is because folks aren't able to qualify for loans as easily as they once could. Now it's really not important what I think about the recent regulations but the important part of all of this is that now more than ever, it is super important for you to have someone on your side that knows these regulations. I don't want to scare you, but I really want you to know that now more than ever, you need to make sure that you have an experienced real estate agent on your team. I have seen too many naive people get excited about a home only to find that it slipped away from their fingers at the very last minute because they chose an inexperienced and/or low-fee real estate agent. Consider this your warning!
